Should you receive credits for your online course? That’s a hot topic and responses vary. Do objective criteria for making such a decision exist? Both the NCCRS (National College Credit Recommendation Service) and the CEM (Center for Educational Measurement at Excelsior College) think so. Although recommendations made by those organizations have a national impact, both happen to be located in Albany, New York. NCCRS was created by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York, and CEM is a unit of Excelsior College.
